Do you ever envy others’ lives? The meaningful work, the lifestyle, the freedom you only wish you had? Don’t you wish you knew their secret?

Here’s mine. Life is too short to settle. Be true to yourself.

Now is the time to cut the excuses and create the spacious life of your dreams today – the one in which you live the life you really want to live, and feel the excitement and sense of adventure and renewal you really want to feel.

Sounds too easy, right? But the fact is nothing could be harder.

It takes courage to:

• Cut the stuff that keeps you bogged down
• Dial back the busy-ness
• Live true to yourself
• Release the stories which no longer serve you
• Examine your relationship to material possessions

If you know the “stuff” in your life just isn’t fulfilling your heart’s desire, you have to ask yourself what you really want instead. Then run towards it.

What are you waiting for? When it comes to creating the lifestyle, livelihood and sacred living space of your dreams, there is only one question:

What do you REALLY want to feel?

Stop right now and take and inventory of those desires you yearn for, the ones that bring tears to your eyes, joy to your heart, and peace to your soul?

If the fulfilling life of your dreams isn’t the one you have right now, it’s time to make a change.

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom, – Anais Nin wrote of her own journey to her spacious life lived from her true self.

Continuing on the same path, doing more, buying more, stuffing your life with busy-ness doesn’t work. Neither does settling for less in relationships, work, money, or health. Your inner pain grows until you feel forced to make a different decision, to make a change.

To take a risk.

The stakes are high. We don’t get to the end and have a chance for a do-over. This is it. What we do here matters – to us, and to others. Being fully ourselves, fully alive and fully engaged with the world around us, requires that we wake up.

Look at those who have broken free, to risk meeting their soul mate, live in exotic places, to live wildly ‘impractical’ lives as bush doctors, artists and adventurers. I’m sure they’d agree: the risk of settling, staying in their comfort zones and never fearing failure, is a risk too big to live with.

Today, I invite you to take that risk, to follow your passion and embrace your joy. I invite you to take the risk of living from your heart and convictions. Don’t you deserve the reward of a spacious life crafted by you, for you?

If the answer is yes, I invite you to reach out right now for a conversation. I look forward to hearing from you.
